Day 326… So today i have to squeeze in as much cape town as i can with a hop on hop off red bus. I get to check out places like the Bo-Kaap Museum, District Six Museum, South African Museum, Table Mountain by rotating aerial cable car and pass by Robben Island.
Cape Town, fondly referred to as The Mother City, has many wondrous sights to offer, including one of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, Table Mountain. Whether young or old, teenager or tot, taking in the sights on a City Sightseeing open-top double-decker bus is one of the best ways to see as much of what the Mother City has to offer as possible whilst enjoying the Cape sun on your shoulders. The elevated views from the buses give one a wonderful overview of all the different sites and the surrounding areas and communities through which you travel.
My tour takes a circular route around the City and consists of 18 hop on and off stops, including the Two Oceans Aquarium and includes The Clock Tower, Cape Town International Convention Centre, Cape Town Tourism, St George’s Cathedral, South African Museum, Mount Nelson Hotel, SA Jewish Museum, District Six Museum, The Castle of Good Hope, Gold Museum, Jewel Africa, Table Mountain Cableway, Camps Bay, President Hotel, Sea Point, Winchester Hotel, and the Green Point Lighthouse. When I check out the museum there’s a bunch of stuff to see, including a lot of pre-dinosaur fossils which look both bizarre and amazing.
