Day 300… Johannesburg
I am supposed to rise early and head out on a morning bush walk, but since it is only 90 mins of chat about plants and there is a high chance of ticks… I decide zark that. I hang at the lodge and pat the lovely 1 eyed dog there before grabbing brekky and heading out. So then i transfer back to Johannesburg (600 km, approx 6 hrs) and take in amazing views at the viewpoint over the awesome Blyde River Canyon and view the Three Rondavels. It’s the 3rd largest canyon on Earth after the Grand in Usa. On the way back at the same rest stop i had coming in, i confirm the oddity that the 1st animal i saw in the safari area 2 days ago was in fact an emu! In amongst the impala, zebras and ostrich. Then its a quiet night before flying over to Vic Falls tomorrow morn.
